ANDERS J. SVENSSON is a propaganda machinist & part-time adventurer living in Calgary, Alberta, in Western Canada. He supports his wanderlust and wiener dog by working as a creative copywriter, lending gibberish, propaganda, and a cultivated brand of irreverence to businesses, agencies, and non-profits.
When Veer co-produced Gary Hustwit's 2007 documentary Helvetica, I had the opportunity to work on some of the film's promotional materials. These included a two-sided notebook that was featured in the 2008 HOW Design Annual and won an award from Applied Arts.
The first ad below advertised the world premiere of Helvetica at SXSW, and was later used to advertise screenings around North America.
