Tagline & Christmas Campaign

Inglewood is Calgary, Alberta’s oldest neighbourhood, and still has the charm of a small town’s main street — with 150 or so trendy shops, restaurants, bars, and microbreweries to visit. In 2018, the Inglewood business association asked me to update their “Calgary’s oldest neighbourhood” tagline for their website and billboard campaign. I proposed a line that acknowledges the past and present, with the addition of just one letter: “Calgary’s boldest neighbourhood.”

Later that year, when Inglewood hosted their annual Xmas shopping event, I wrote a series of ads that connect the season and the neighbourhood, using modified lines from Christmas carols.
