Event Centre Video Script

Scotia Place — formerly codenamed “The Calgary Event Centre” — will be replacing the Saddledome as Calgary’s main sports and entertainment venue. I was asked to write a script for the City of Calgary, to unveil the venue’s name and design, describe how it was influenced by Indigenous voices, and explain the significance of its location as a gathering place throughout history. This will be an exciting upgrade for Calgary’s Culture + Entertainment District and I was thrilled to participate in the big reveal.
